Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District <br /> for applicable permits. <br /> 2. Any changes shall be submitted to EHD for approval prior to commencing work. All new <br /> submittals supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Prior to commencing work submit all manufacture's training certification for equipment to be <br /> installed. <br /> 4. The UST system primary and secondary containment must be "product tight." "Product <br /> tight" is defined as "impervious to the liquid and vapor of the substance that is contained, or <br /> is to be contained, so as to prevent the seepage of the substance from the <br /> containment."[Health and Safety Code 25290.2(a)-(c)] (H&S Code) <br /> 5. A holiday test is to be performed prior to installation. <br /> 6. Both primary and secondary pipes shall bear a UL label. <br /> 7. All pipe fittings and connections shall bear a UL label. <br /> 8. All monitoring systems shall be listed on the LG113-16. <br /> 9. All testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instruction, section 2635 and section <br /> 2636 of California Code of Regulations (CCR). <br /> 10. If chosen positive shutdown must satisfy CCR 2636(8). <br /> 11. All piping must slope and be maintained to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. <br /> 12. All equipment in contact with backfill must have corrosion protection. <br /> 13. Overfill prevention must satisfy CCR 2635(b)(2). <br /> 14. After installation but prior to operation of the UST system, enhanced leak detection or <br /> equivalent approved by the State Water Resources Control Board must be performed. [H&S <br /> Code 25290.2(i)] <br /> 15. An accurate and drawn-to scale-as-built plan must be submitted to EHD prior to the final <br /> inspection. <br /> 16. A complete monitoring and response plan must be submitted prior to the final inspection. <br /> 17. A completed certification of financial responsibility must be submitted prior to the final <br /> inspection. <br /> 18. Contact Dina Abate, REHS at (209) 468-3468 for inspections.
