Airport Way, Stockton
Analytical Data for
Pipeline S...
Ray,
We have received the analytical data for the two soil samples collected beneath the
gasoline UST pipelines on Friday, October 5, 2007, at the Earthgrains Baking Companies
site located at 2651 South Airport Way in Stockton. The analytical laboratory report is
attached. Sample PPN-2 was collected beneath the northern end of the pipelines adjacent
to the former pump island, and sample PPS-2.5 was collected beneath the southern end of
the pipelines at the former gasoline UST excavation. TPH-g, BTEX, seven fuel oxygenates
(DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, TBA, ethanol, and methanol) , two fuel additives (1,2-DCA and
EDB) , and VOCs were not detected in either sample. Lead was detected in the two samples
at 9.0 and 24 mg/kg.
Following disposal of the product piping and site restoration, we will provide you with a
written report of the UST pipeline closure activities.
We appreciate your and Vicki's prompt response last week, following the discovery of these
UST pipelines. If you have any questions, please contact me or Paul Anderson.
Tom Neely
Thomas Neely, PG, CHG, REA II
ETIC Engineering, Inc.
2285 Morello Avenue
Pleasant Hill, CA 94523
(925) 602-4710 ext. 17
tneely@eticeng.com
1
