CET
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES INC.
May 8, 2002 188 Frank West Circle
Suite I
Stockton, CA 95206
(209) 234-0518
FAX (209) 234-0538
County of San Joaquin Building Department
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
RE: Excavation Backfill Compaction Testing at 3624 S. Airport Way, Stockton
Condor Project No. 3523D
Gentlemen,
The attached documents verify the compaction testing performed by Condor Earth Technologies,
Inc. (Condor) at the site located at 3624 S. Airport Way in Stockton, California. An area of the
site was backfilled and compacted after the excavation and removal of one underground storage
tank (UST)from the site. The excavation was backfilled with native material removed during the
excavation and other site surface soil. Nuclear density testing was performed to monitor
compaction of the fill.
The average compaction for the backfill is approximately 86% relative compaction.Given the
imminent development of the site for use as an industrial park and the extensive groundworking
activities necessary for such development, it is Condor's opinion that the backfill compaction
performed on April 9, 2002 and based on the existing ground conditions (see Condor
Geotechnical Engineering Study, dated April 12, 2002) meets the requirements of the Backfill
Excavation Certificate.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at(209)234-0518.
Sincerely,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Reviewed by,
Michael McRivette Ronald L.
