Removal of the tank was performed on March 21, 2003. The <br /> location of soil samples collected during the work are shown with respect to the former tank on the <br /> attached Sample Location Plan. Rinseate,tank disposal documentation,and laboratory data also are <br /> attached. The laboratory also has been requested to mail the data directly to San Joaquin County as <br /> required by the permit. <br /> The tank was oriented such that the gasoline compartment was to the north and the diesel <br /> compartment was to the south. Following the removal, three soil samples were collected from the <br /> pit floor at a depth of approximately 14 feet below ground surface(bgs). In accordance with County <br /> approval,the middle sample(Pit-Mid)has been analyzed for TPH as gas and diesel, BTEX,and five <br /> common oxygenates. The northerly floor sample (Pit-N) has been tested for TPH as gasoline. <br /> BTEX,and the five oxygenates. The southerly floor sample has been analyzed for TPH as diesel and <br /> BTEX.
