These Bills require <br />� the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storaee tanks that , <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> � of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> U ' cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br /> � for a fee system to cover the cost of implemeqting this state mandated <br />^ . prmgram. <br /> ` <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule), for these required inspectional <br /> � services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br />� <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly - <br /> inspectional fee, th,is statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge � <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five vears or ' <br /> � <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge � <br /> � fees will. be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water . <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> � <br /> ` <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee � <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February 1 <br /> ^ 3, 1986.
