April 4 , 1991
Mr. Wes Dubose
_ 2735 Teepee Drive, STE. E
Stockton, CA 95205
— RE: Laboratory analysis of soil samples collected after the
tank removal, 03-25-91 at Kingdon Airport/Dragstrip
12145 De Vries Road, Lodi, California.
Dear Mr. Dubose:
Enclosed please find the analytical results of the soil
samples collected after the removal of one 10, 000 gallon
— aviation fuel underground storage tank from the Kingdon
Airport/Dragstrip on March 25, 1991 .
Under the direct supervision of San Joaquin County
Environmental Health, two soil samples were collected by
Kevin Koehn of ETS Environmental from the backhoe bucket at a
depth of twelve feet below the ground level . Total depth of
the excavation was twelve feet and groundwater was not
encountered. Soil sample one (S-1)
was collected from the East side of the tank cradle at a
depth of twelve feet below grade, and soil sample two (S-2)
was collected from the West side of the tank cradle at a
— depth of twelve feet below grade.
The soil samples were collected by means of a hand
sampling tool fitted with 2" OD brass sleeves. The
laboratory samples were immediately sealed in their liners
using aluminum foil-lined plastic caps taped in place. The
soil samples were properly labeled with the project number,
ETS ENVIRONMENTAL & ASSOC.
PROJECT NO. 307 , PAGE 1
