Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA. 95201 <br /> Dear Mr. Moe: <br /> In reference to your inspection report of 4/13/87, we wish to submit for <br /> your approval the following proposal to allow a permanent closure in place <br /> of our storage tanks that are buried next to and/or under building founda- <br /> tions. <br /> Tank number 5 is located at 2410 Diablo Drive, Tank number 4 is located at <br /> 1725 Ackerman Drive. <br /> Please note the attached plot plans. There are no known septic tanks or <br /> wells located within 500 feet of either tank's location. <br /> Please also note the attached letter from the City of Lodi Fire Department, <br /> Prior to the filling of the tank, with a concrete slurry, we intend to have <br /> a precision test conducted on the tanks. It is our intention to use <br /> Integrity Tank Testing Systems, Inc. to conduct the tests. Their address <br /> is 166 Frank West Circle, Stockton, CA. Telephone number 466-8036. It is <br /> our intention to use Levi Reich Masonry Contractor to pump and vibrate the <br /> slurry into the tanks. Their address is 430 Charleston Way, Lodi, CA. <br /> 95242. Mr. Reich has performed this service in the last 2-3 months for <br /> himself under the direction of your Harlan Noel. <br /> The tank at 1725 Ackerman Drive is a 1000 gallon tank that was used as a <br /> waste oil tank until 1984 at which time it was pumped dry and the fill/ <br /> drain was sealed off at ground level, The tank at 2410 Diablo Drive is a <br /> 500 gallon tank and was previously used as a diesel fuel tank, <br /> We intend to use diesel fuel as the liquid medium to have the tanks tested. <br /> After the testing, the diesel fuel will be removed and placed in our truck <br /> supply diesel fuel storage tanks at 1725 Ackerman Drive. We intend to use <br /> dry ice at the rate of 15 pounds per 1000 gallons to purge any combustible <br /> vapors after the tanks are pumped dry, <br /> No portion of the underground storage tanks or any of their parts are <br />
