Geological Audit Services, Inc. (GeoAudit) <br /> was retained by Goins Environmental to collect soil samples <br /> associated with the tank removal. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Sample D-1 was collected from the tank excavation at a depth of <br /> nine (9) feet. Samples SP-1 and SP-2 were collected from the <br /> stockpiled soil and were composited for analysis. <br /> The samples were collected using a metric soil sampler loaded with <br /> 11J0, Clean, b}' 3 `4 nch bzass ubcs. !rh e ends of the lead tubes <br /> were covered with aluminum sheets, capped and sealed with tape. The <br /> samples were collected under the direction of Ms. Pam Violett of <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental <br /> Health Division (PHS/EHD) . <br /> The samples were stored on ice and transported under chain-of- <br /> custody to McCampbell Analytical, Inc. in Pacheco, California, <br /> where they underwent analysis for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH <br /> as diesel) and volatile aromatics (BTE&X) . <br /> RESULTS <br /> No hydrocarbon contamination was detected in sample D-1. Xylenes <br /> were detected in the composite sample from the stockpile (SP-1 and <br /> 1 <br /> Full Spectrum Environmental Services• Hydrogeology <br />
