No. PE4192 and PE4277) and chains -of -custody forms <br />are presented in Appendix G. <br />` 2.3. BACKFILLING OF EXCAVATION <br />On 18 January 1999 and 10 February 1999, the UST cavity was partially backfilled utilizing <br />., approximately 125 tons of 5/16 -inch pea gravel. Delivery receipts for pea gravel to the site are <br />included as Appendix H. <br />L On 10 February 1999, soil stockpiled on the west portion of the site was re -utilized to completely <br />backfill the former UST cavity. Backfill material achieved approximately 90 percent compaction <br />utilizing a compaction wheel. <br />2.4. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK DISPOSITION TRACKING RECORD <br />In accordance with PHS-EHD guidelines, the UST Disposition Tracking Record is included with <br />Appendix I. <br />in. 3.0. RESULTS OF LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br />A total of thirteen soil samples were submitted to a state -certified laboratory for analysis of TPH-g, <br />6. TPH-d, BTEX, fuel oxygenates and total lead. Utilizing EPA Method 8015M, TPH-g was detected <br />in soil samples collected beneath both dispenser samples (Dispenser No. 1 and Dispenser No. 2) at <br />concentrations as high as 6 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). TPH-d was not detected above <br />laboratory reporting limits from any of the analyzed samples. <br />Total lead was detected beneath the west end of UST No. 1, from stockpiled soil samples (SP -1, SP - <br />2, SP -3, SP -5 and SP -6), beneath both dispenser samples and from the product pipe sample at <br />concentrations as high as 2.85 mg/kg. <br />L <br />BTEX constituents and fuel oxygenates were not detected above laboratory reporting limits from <br />any of the analyzed samples. The analytical results of selected soil samples are summarized in Table <br />1. The laboratory report (PEAL Sample I.D.
