REMOVAL PLAN <br /> Prior to tank excavation OHM will pump residual liquids and <br /> pumpable sludges from UST into 55 gal 17-E drums. Dry ice will <br /> then be used to purge UST to achieve a nonhazardous atmosphere. <br /> L.E.L. and P. I. D. meters will be used to monitor the site. After <br /> approval to remove the UST has been given the UST will be exca- <br /> vated using a rubber tired backhoe. After removal of tank, soil <br /> samples will be taken from excavation hole when required. If <br /> samples are taken they will be delivered to a certified California <br /> analytical lab for analysis. <br /> Tanks will be picked up for transportation and manifesting by: <br /> B.C. Stocking, Inc. U. S . EPA ID# CAX000089425 <br /> P.O. Box 567 Haz . Trans. #27255 <br /> Vacaville, CA 95696 PUC #129010 <br /> Tanks will be taken to B.C. Stocking' s main cleaning facility on <br /> Road 30A, Davis, California where the tanks will be high pressure <br /> cleaned and cut up for scrap. <br /> All wash water and sludges will be stored in B. C. Stocking' s <br /> 20, 000 gallon holding tank and picked up for disposal by I.T. <br /> Corp. and taken to their Benicia, California disposal site, <br /> certificates of disposal will be provided. All wash water and <br /> sludges will be manifested and disposed of as B. D. Stocking being <br /> the generator. All copies of hazardous waste manifests will be <br /> forwarded to the proper agencies by B. C. Stocking. <br /> All cut up scrap metal will be taken to: <br /> C&C Metals <br /> 11320 Dismantle Court <br /> Rancho Cordova, California <br /> (916) 635-5600 <br /> All metals will be disposed of as nonhazardous and certified <br /> clean.
