RECEIVED
16 June, 2014 JUN 2 3 2014
Mrs. Kasey Foley, REHS ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Program Coordinator PERMIT/SERVICES
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E. Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Dear Mrs. Foley,
am writing you as suggested by Laura S. Fisher, Chief, UST Leak
Prevention and Office of Tank Tester Licensing. 1 regret the delay from
her letter but my son who has been on a kidney dialysis program,
recently passed away. I have been attending to his burial services
with my family. I look forward to your assistance in closing this matter
which has been kicking around for years.
As 1 have shown, my deceased husband purchased this old Shell gas
station site which Shell has indicated by substantial written
correspondence that they closed pursuant to laws in place at the time
in the late 50's or early 60's. The San Joaquin County Deputy DA, David
Irey also came after me in court a number of years ago and lost. I am
certain you are aware of his reputation as a woman, children and
widow killer. I have enclosed a newspaper article about him from the
Sacramento Bee showing him getting trounced in court when he came
after someone who could defend himself.
As I have indicated to the State Water Resources Control Board, I am
destitute and my only source of income is a meager rent I get from a
tire shop on my property. 1 have severe diabetes and medical
problems. I feel that I could get the tanks closed by filling them with a
cement slurry mix as has been suggested to me. The tanks have never
had fuel in them since my deceased husband purchased this site over
fifty years ago.
would appreciate your assistance in sending any application
necessary to me with any directions and suggestions you may have.
do not have a computer and am not able to use email. I still must
utilize US Mail. I am fortunate to have a few friends who allow me to
type letters like this one. Thank you for your assistance.
