Report unsafe conditions or acts immediately to their supervisor. <br />2. Promptly report all injuries to their supervisor. <br />3. Wear hard hat at all times on the job site. <br />4. Use proper eye and face protection where there is a danger from flying objects or particles, <br />such as when grinding, chipping and welding, etc. <br />5. Dress properly. Wear appropriate clothing, gloves and leather boots. Louse clothing and <br />jewelry must not be worn. <br />6. Never operate any machine unless all guards and safety devices are in place and in proper <br />operating condition. <br />7. Keep all tools in safe working condition. Never use defective tools or equipment. Electrical <br />tools must have good cords and be checked for continuity monthly. <br />8. Be alert to work going on around you and keep out from under overhead loads. <br />9. Do not operate machinery or equipment if you are not authorized and instructed to operate it. <br />Operators must inspect their equipment daily and repair or report any hazardous conditions. <br />10. Do not leave material in walkways, roads or other points of egress. <br />11. Practice good housekeeping at all times. <br />12. Riding on equipment or hoists that are not designed for passengers with an approved seat belt <br />is strictly prohibited. <br />13. Fuel must be stored and transported in authorized cans only. Engines must be shut off when <br />refueling and no smoking anywhere near tlammable liquids. <br />Page 21 of 25 <br />
