Weber Avenue -3^' floor
Stockton, CA 96202
Attn: Doug Wilson
Dear Mr. Wilson,
On September 23rd, 1998, I received an invoice (No.
0014728), from your office concerning service fees and penalties for
an underground storage tank located at 4032 N. El Dorado St.
Historical Background: Mary Jo Eustis, Virginia Byford
and Eileen Rue inherited the Smog Shop upon the death of Mrs.
Edith Snell, the mother of Mary Jo and Virginia. Prior to the
death of Mrs. Snell, the property had been used as a tune-up and
smog shop.
Neither Mrs. Eustis, Mrs. Byford, (who lives in Mt. Vernon
Washington,) or Eileen Rue have any knowledge of automotive
services and certainly no knowledge of tune-up facilities.
None of the present owners had any knowledge of even the
existence of such an underground storage tank.
During the course of their ownership of the property, there
have been three lessors: The current lessor has indicated an
interest in purchasing the facility. In order to be fair to Mr.
P.02
