Water Not Present In Tank Pit: <br />Tank Size (A) 0 to 1,000 gallons a minimum of one soil <br />samples will be taken from either the pump <br />or the fill end of the tank, below bottom of <br />tank. <br />(B) 1,001 to 10,000 a minimum of two soil samples <br />will be taken. One sample from each end of <br />the tank, below bottom of tank. <br />(C) 10,001 and up a minimum of three soil samples <br />will be taken spaced evenly along the length <br />of the tank, below bottom of tank. <br />6.) Water is Present in Tank Pit: <br />Tank Size (A) 10,000 gallons or less (single tank) the <br />minimum number of soil samples will be <br />two from the tank wall at each end of <br />soil/ground water interface. The minimum <br />number of water samples shall be one. <br />(B) 10,001 and larger tank, or a cluster of <br />tanks the minimum number of soil samples <br />to be taken shall be four, one from each <br />wall at soil/ground water interface. A <br />minimum of one water sample shall be taken. <br />CHEMICAL SECTION: <br />1.) Contents of Tank: <br />Tank when in use contained waste oil. <br />2.) Residue: Tank will be pumped and flushed clean of any <br />residue. <br />3.) Authorization: To release soil analysis is on attached <br />form. <br />
