_ EJM`PN19.1 SLL4
4
IJc W.566216 ''
P.O. Box 69 Bus:(209)874-3722
Hickman,CA 95323 FAX:(209)874-3723
To whom it may concern,
This letter is to inform your county of some of methods used
for triple rinsing underground fuel tanks. I have enclosed a letter
showing our procedure. Also I may note we use a degreaser to help in our
cleaning method.
As regards hazardous waste generated it will hauled away by
California Oil Recyclers INC.
As far as purging and inerting methods we first air the tank
out until we get the L.E.L. to safe levels then we inert it by using
20 Lbs. Dry Ice per 1000 gallons.
As regards soil samples they will be taken 24 inches below
bottom of tank in undisturbed soil.
Samples will be taken by Brass Tube in undisturbed soil,
from Backhoe Bucket if necessary, iced in cooler.
