Box 388
Stockton,CA 95201-0388
Subject: 7500 West It*Street,Tracy,California
Dear Mr. Sasson:
Following the removal of underground storage tanks and piping from the subject site, the
soil from beneath the pump island which has elevated levels of gasoline and diesel was
excavated and stockpiled on site. The results from the sampling of the stockpile of this
soil are not yet available. The excavation of hydrocarbon affected soil on the site is now
completed. The stockpile of hydrocarbon affected soil will be covered with visqueen in
accordance with County requirement. The present plan is to place a visqueen marker in
the tank pit and pump island pit excavations and backfill these excavations with clean
soil. A work plan will be prepared for characterization and remediation of the site. One
element of this plan(to be prepared)will be to treat the stockpile of hydrocarbon affected
soil on site. Following this treatment sampling will be performed in accordance with San
Joaquin County requirements to verify that the clean up standards(to be established) has
been achieved.
If you have any questions please contact me.
Sincerely yours,
H.
