(PACIFIC) is pleased to submit <br /> this letter which describes the work performed for the removal <br /> of one transmission fluid tank at the subject site. This letter <br /> presents background, a summary of work, description of the tank <br /> removal and soil sampling, findings and conclusions. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The Unocal bulk plant is located at 8203 West Business Loop 205 <br /> in Tracy (see Figure 1) . A 5, 000-gallon steel tank located <br /> approximately 35 feet south of the above ground bulk tanks was <br /> used to store automatic transmission fluid (see Figure 2) . <br /> SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> Bassett Construction was contracted by Unocal to perform the <br /> construction activities associated with removal and disposal of <br /> the 5000-gallon transmission fluid tank. California Water Labs <br /> performed the soil sampling and sample analyses.
