i . <br /> COS January 1996 Meeting <br /> Page 3 <br /> i1 <br /> i The purpose of the scope of work proposed in this workplan is to compile a complete site <br /> ' assessment report with all data obtained to date. All soil and 'groundwater analyses <br /> ( obtained to date should be tabulated. The estimated extent of'lthe contamination should be <br /> contoured on cross sections which include lithological strata arid well construction details. <br /> A mass balance should be calculated for each concentration contour. The environmental <br /> attenuation, leachability, waste characterization and monitoring well data presented in this <br /> i report will be used to determine the risk of leaving the waste in place, or the benefit of <br /> establishing and implementing site specific cleanup goals. <br /> l <br /> The compliance date for the work plan is February 29, 1996 <br /> The next meeting to discuss COS sites was scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 1996 at 1:30 p.m. <br /> and will be held at the office of PHS/EHD.
