Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> JIM GIOTONINI <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR C (DPY CITY OF STOCKTON <br /> 425 NORTH ELDORADO <br /> STOCKTON CA 95202 "JUL 2 71994 <br /> RE: Victory Park Site Code: 2591 <br /> Argonne and Picardy <br /> Stockton CA 95203 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD)has <br /> completed review of the McCampbell Analytical Report dated July 15, 1994 which included <br /> the analytical results from the July 7, 1994 over-excavation at the above referenced site. <br /> The results evidenced residual soil contamination of up to 49 ppb benzene, 1,300 ppb <br /> toluene, 310 ppb ethylbenzene, 2,000 ppb xylene and 16 ppm TPH-gasoline from the side <br /> wall sample collected at 10-5 feet below ground surface. Soil contamination was also <br /> evidenced up to 1,000 ppb toluene, 1,000 ppb ethylbenzene, 8,500 ppb xylene from the <br /> bottom sample collected at 19.5 feet below ground surface. <br /> Seasonal high depth to groundwater in the area of this site is 15 feet below ground surface <br /> according to the 1986 San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District <br /> map.
