�erground Storage Tank Removal Report ` 730 E.Channel Street,Stockton,CA Page 5 ., 6.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS The field observations indicated that soil staining and petroleum odors were present in the soils beneath the southern end of the tank pit, dispenser, and "Trench-N." The laboratory analytical results indicated that hydrocarbon constituents were detected at or above the laboratory reported detection limits in the soil samples collected from the southern end of the tank pit, beneath the filter, and the soil stockpile. Elevated concentrations of lead were also noted in the soil samples collected from the soil stockpile and beneath the dispenser. Based on the laboratory analytical results, Condor recommends that the southern end of the tank pit and dispenser area be excavated to remove the contaminated soil. As this will entail negotiations with adjacent property owners,this may take some time to resolve. 7.0 LIMITATIONS Condor developed the interpretations and conclusions presented herein in accordance with generally ` accepted principles and practice. Conclusions presented in this report are professional opinions based on limited information obtained at the time of our site visits. Condor has endeavored to determine as much as practical about the site using conventional practices given our scope of services. Condor makes no representation as to the subsurface conditions at locations or times other than those sampled by our employees and reported in this document. If any changes are made or errors found in the information utilized in this report, the interpretations and conclusions contained herein shall not be considered valid unless the changes are reviewed by Condor and either appropriately modified or re-approved in writing.
