FASTECH develops a site-specific Health and Safety <br /> Pian wl Confined Space Permit for each testing location (available on-site, day of testing). <br /> Test Equipment: <br /> • FASTECH utilizes third party certified hardware and software for all hydrostatic tests (attached). The primary <br /> tester is certified, by the manufacturer of the equipment used (Enhanced Leak Detection Systems, Inc.), to test <br /> containment sumps, under dispenser containment, and spill buckets. <br /> • Pressure Gauges, Ametek-U.S. Gauge, 0-15 psi pressure range, 4.5-inch diameter, glycerin filled, .5% span of <br /> scale, calibrated every six months. <br /> • Vacuum Gauges, Ametek-U.S. Gauge, 0-30 in-hg vacuum range, 4.5-inch diameter, glycerin filled, .5% span of <br /> scale, calibrated every six months. <br /> • Vacuum Pump, Gast Model 2Z866, 120 volt AC. Pump mounted greater than 18-inches (about 3.5-feet) above <br /> work surface (surface grade), with outlet tubing terminating outside the work zone. <br /> Test Procedures: <br /> • Local CUPA will be notified of testing schedule a minimum of 48-hours before the test is scheduled to begin. <br /> During testing, station's dispensing equipment may remain in operation providing no health and safety <br /> concerns arise for either the public or test crews. Testing will be performed within an exclusion zone. If, at any <br /> time, the site safety officer or local CUPA deems any situation unsafe, the site safety officer will shut the <br /> station's dispensing equipment down. Testing will only be conducted when all health and safety concerns are <br /> met. <br /> • Sump Cleaning and Preparation. <br /> FASTECH will steam clean all turbine sumps, dispenser pans, and spill buckets. The water and waste <br /> generated during the cleaning process will be temporarily stored on-site in a labeled drum (dated, Haz Waste <br /> Label). The client will classify the drum, and provide transportation for drum disposal in a timely manner. Once <br /> the site has been cleaned, it will be ready for testing. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
