Grant Line Road Tracy, California Gentlemen: This report summarizes the field and sampling activities performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1 ) during the recent removal of the underground storage tanks (USTs) and associated piping. UST removal and excavation activities were performed by Golden West Builders of Livermore, California. Touchstone Developments was present on-site to observe the UST removal, and obtain soil samples from the tank excavations, piping trenches, and associated soil stockpiles. The soil sampling activities described in this report were performed May 20, 1994 to comply with the current Tri-Regional Water Quality Control Board (WQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services ' Guidelines . SITE DESCRIPTION The site at 575 W. Grant Line Road is located on the northeast corner of W. Grant Line and Tracy Boulevard Avenue was occupied by a Chevron service station. The former UST complex and pump islands were located southeast of the service station building (Figure 1) and consisted of three 10,000 gallon single wall fiberglass tanks containing supreme unleaded gasoline, regular unleaded gasoline, and unleaded plus gasoline. One 1000 gallon single wall fiberglass waste oil tank was located north of the station building. One oil/water separator (sump) and two semi- hydraulic hoists were located in the service bay of the station. P.O.
