Grant Line Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> This report summarizes the field and sampling activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1 ) during the <br /> recent removal of the underground storage tanks (USTs) and <br /> associated piping. UST removal and excavation activities <br /> were performed by Golden West Builders of Livermore, <br /> California. Touchstone Developments was present on-site to <br /> observe the UST removal, and obtain soil samples from the <br /> tank excavations, piping trenches, and associated soil <br /> stockpiles. The soil sampling activities described in this <br /> report were performed May 20, 1994 to comply with the <br /> current Tri-Regional Water Quality Control Board (WQCB) and <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services ' Guidelines . <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site at 575 W. Grant Line Road is located on the <br /> northeast corner of W. Grant Line and Tracy Boulevard Avenue <br /> was occupied by a Chevron service station. The former UST <br /> complex and pump islands were located southeast of the <br /> service station building (Figure 1) and consisted of three <br /> 10,000 gallon single wall fiberglass tanks containing <br /> supreme unleaded gasoline, regular unleaded gasoline, and <br /> unleaded plus gasoline. One 1000 gallon single wall <br /> fiberglass waste oil tank was located north of the station <br /> building. One oil/water separator (sump) and two semi- <br /> hydraulic hoists were located in the service bay of the <br /> station. <br /> P.O.
