The analytical results of <br /> the soil samples taken beneath the underground storage tanks that <br /> were removed from this site in September 1986 are not acceptable <br /> because a chain of custody was not provided and the results were <br /> handwritten. Pursuant to the California Code of Regulations Title <br /> 9 23 , Division 3 , Chapter 16 (Underground Tank Regulations) Section <br /> 2672 (d) properly documented analytical results should be submitted <br /> to this office by December 1, 1993 . <br /> If the analytical results cannot be produced, further investigation <br /> should be conducted.
