San Joaquin Street PERMIUSEMES <br /> Stockton, CA. 95201 <br /> RE: "Site Health & Safety Plane <br /> Onsite safety on the job sites will be typical for all sites with the exception of <br /> job site address and the public sanitary facilities. <br /> JOB-SITE FOREMAN & MANAGEMENT <br /> Foreman will be Richard Ruiz, and Ken Wendt - owner will be jobsite manager. The <br /> jobsite safety officer will be Joel Gentles (He has been 40 hour hazardous <br /> materials safety trained in compliance with OSHA cfr <br /> TANK HOLE SAFETY <br /> The tank hole will not be entered without proper safety measures such as a cable <br /> stretched across the span and tied off secure to enable personel to enter the <br /> hole or get on top of the tanks to work on risers and other tasks. A layard <br /> will be used to secure the worker to the cable. <br /> A 2' area will be cleaned around the tank hole to enable workers and city, county, <br /> state agencies to observe and inspect the area. Ladders will be used in this area. <br /> TRENCH SAFETY <br /> Trenches will not be entered without the proper safty measures. The workers will <br /> not be permitted to enter the open trench over 5' deep without the proper cave-in <br /> supports or the walls of the trench be 308 or greater in slope to the walls. <br /> JOBSITE NOISE FACTORS <br /> All the equipment on the jobsite will be low decible noise. If jackhammers are <br /> used, the workers are urged to wear ear safety gear. <br /> SMALL PARTICALS SAFETY <br /> In situations where small particals are generated such as grinding or sanding <br /> the workers are informed to wear dust masks. <br /> In other organic particals that would endanger the lungs with over exposure , then <br /> those workers are intructed to wear organic half-face masks. <br /> AREA SAFETY CONCERNING WALK BY TRAFFIC <br /> The jobsite will be barricaded and caution tape used to show the public the <br /> perimitor of the working eare. At times the entire jobsite may be fenced off. <br />
