Kleinfelder & Associates (JHK&A) is pleased to submit <br /> the following scope of work and price quote to perform soil <br /> sampling and the installation of three monitoring wells adjacent <br /> to your underground storage tank containing #6 fuel oil . The <br /> purpose of the soil sampling and monitoring wells is to assess <br /> whether leakage has occurred from the tank and to provide a <br /> system for the ongoing monitoring of the tank. <br /> According to information provided to us and observations <br /> made during our review of the site on July 25 , 1986 we understand <br /> the following pertinent conditions exist : <br /> 1 . The tank is constructed of concrete with a 6-inch thick <br /> bottom, 8-inch thick walls, and a 7-inch thick top . <br /> 2 . The tank contains #6 fuel oil and has an approximate <br /> capacity of 40 , 000 gallons . <br /> 3 . The approximate dimensions of the tank are 21 feet wide x 31 <br /> feet long x SO feet deep . <br />
