Kleinfelder & Associates (JHK&A) is pleased to submit
the following scope of work and price quote to perform soil
sampling and the installation of three monitoring wells adjacent
to your underground storage tank containing #6 fuel oil . The
purpose of the soil sampling and monitoring wells is to assess
whether leakage has occurred from the tank and to provide a
system for the ongoing monitoring of the tank.
According to information provided to us and observations
made during our review of the site on July 25 , 1986 we understand
the following pertinent conditions exist :
1 . The tank is constructed of concrete with a 6-inch thick
bottom, 8-inch thick walls, and a 7-inch thick top .
2 . The tank contains #6 fuel oil and has an approximate
capacity of 40 , 000 gallons .
3 . The approximate dimensions of the tank are 21 feet wide x 31
feet long x SO feet deep .
