Please recall that these reports <br /> were submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services/ <br /> Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) on January 3, 1989, and <br /> March 14, 1989, respectively. <br /> These previously submitted proposals or reports utilize the "Regional <br /> Board Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> Underground Tanks" and "Appendix A" reporting format. The LUFT Manual <br /> has also been utilized as a guidance document. <br /> Please be aware that Pacific Bell and Versar Inc. have been awaiting <br /> he StJCPHS� [10U 1.o imien s oil the site assessmeat and proposed rernedi ati on <br /> plan. Pacific Bell and Versar Inc. are concerned that the contaminant <br /> plume may leach further (or deeper) in the unsaturated zone. Therefore, <br /> please note that Pacific Bell and Versar are hereby scheduling initiation <br /> of remediation activities during November, 1989. Please note that <br /> activities will begin with pre-excavation utility securance (i .e. , <br /> temporary abandonment of the septic system and location of all <br /> underground utilities) . We will be contacting your office for any permit <br /> requirements (in addition to permit applications which have already been <br /> submitted) . <br />
