Vapors
as high as 7,100 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) of petrloleurri hydrocarbon as diesel
have been identified at a depth of 30 feet below ground Ii surface. This concentration
remaining in the soil poses a potential threat to groundwater quality and it will be
necessary for Pac Bell to address the contamination with an appropriate mitigation
measure. A "Soil Remediation Proposal" (SRP) must be submitted by November 25,
1992.
ICC 4
Please be advised that it is the responsibility of this agency tolensure and maintain
compliance with all applicable underground storage tank laws:!and regulations within our
jurisdiction.
