Per your
request, the section regarding continuous monitoring shall be revised as follows:
Section 1 - Monitoring Equipment:
Secondarily contained storage tanks and lines at this facility are to be monitored by a continuous
electronic leak detection system, which consists of an alarm panel, sensors and associated electronics.
Liquid sensors are installed in the annular space of each double-wall tank and product line piping
sump, as well as at each one of the dispenser containment sumps. Whenever a sensor detects presence
of liquid there is both an audible and visual alarm at the control panel. In addition, this continuous
monitor on the piping system will shut down the pump and activate the alarm system when a release
is detected or the continuous product piping monitoring system fails or is disconnected, the pumping
system will shut down.
Electronic automatic leak detectors (3 GPH)are installed on the secondarily contained pressurized
product piping as part of the turbine. The Iine leak detector will detect a loss of pressure in the
product lines and restrict the flow of product.
The model numbers for the associated monitoring system are as follows:
Description Model Number
Monitoring Panel -Veeder Root TLS 350 Monitoring and
Control Panel VR-847090-002
Liquid Sensor for the Tank Annular Space -Veeder Root VR-794390-409
18215 72ND AVENUE SOUTH KENT,WA 98032 (425)251-6222 (425)251-8782 FAX
