Kleinfelder & Associates relative to the removal of <br /> rr.Y Jpirn upipn HMn sdNa the gas tank from the Clover Middle School site in Tracy. <br /> Wait Sped N irrpRo <br /> Day[e ErwFSM1er <br /> Meocri In our contract, with Kleinfelder , it indicates that they <br /> TLrry13a.d,PM1.O. are to be paid for their work on this project at such time <br /> Mart MpmMn; that the report is determined to be " satisfactory by the <br /> H.Mater Popper.MR. Health District and the School District" . <br /> The initial inspection for this project was conducted by <br /> Rinauldo Crooks, of the Health District, in September 1985. <br /> The subsequent report was submitted, by Kleinfelder, <br /> November 25, 1985. Mr . Crooks completed his initial review <br /> of this report December 12, 1985 indicating that an <br /> additional test for lead was needed . The additional test <br /> was conducted by Kleinfelder , and a report was submitted to <br /> the County Health District January 14, 1986. The last <br /> formal correspondence we have concerning this project was a <br /> conversation with Crooks on February 28, 1986 when he <br /> informed me that he "still had problems with the report" , <br /> and needed further clarification concerning the "other <br /> hydro-carbons" category which Kleinfelder had used. He <br /> indicated that he would be discussing this with Kleinfelder. <br /> More than seven months have now passed since this last <br /> verbal comment. During this time both Kleinfelder and the <br /> School District have attempted to conclude this project so <br /> that the final payment, and files, can be closed on this <br /> matter . However, we have yet to receive any formal <br /> notification from the Health District as to the final <br /> acceptability of the reports, and therefore, the matter is <br /> still open. <br /> If any further information is needed to permit you to <br /> resol this situation, please notify me . <br /> Si ; <br /> Robin T.
