California 95691 <br />SOIL SAMPLING AND TESTING <br />SLAKEY BROTHERS STOCKTON <br />1075 East Bianchi Road <br />Stockton, California <br />WKA No. 2200.32 <br />Introduction <br />EN'Viiii;r'i''ENTAL HEALTH <br />CCE<2 SERMCE <br />93 AUG IS PN 1: 57 <br />We have completed the observation, sampling and laboratory testing of soil <br />exposed during the removal of one underground storage tank (UST) from the <br />subject property located at 1075 Bianchi Road in Stockton, California <br />(Plate 1). The 10,000 -gallon diesel underground storage tank (UST) was <br />removed on July 28, 1993. <br />The scope of our work included sampling and laboratory testing of soils <br />obtained from the UST excavation. The UST was removed by Post <br />Construction, under permit and inspection of San Joaquin County Public <br />Health Services (SJCPHS) and the City of Stockton Fire Department. The <br />removal and sampling were witnessed by Mr. Letitia Briggs of SJCPHS. <br />Materials Testing <br />Two soil samples were collected from the bottom of the excavation. One soil <br />sample, T1A, was collected from approximately 13 feet below surface grade <br />beneath the northerly end (fill end) of the UST. The second soil sample, T1B, <br />was collected from approximately 12 feet below surface grade beneath the <br />3050 Industrial Blvd. <br />southern end of the UST. Four additional samples were collected from the <br />West Sacramento <br />approximate 80 cubic yard soil stockpile located westerly of the excavation <br />CA 95691 <br />and combined in the laboratory to form one sample for analysis (STKl A -D). <br />Fax 9163721565 <br />916.372.1434 <br />to - -,,, , <br />
