K-WESTIC TECH <br /> The following emergency equipment shall be available AND stationed at <br /> each work location for every day of the project : <br /> 15 minute portable eye/face wash meeting ANSI standards . <br /> (Note: If a pressurized unit i used. it shall be flushed, <br /> rinsed, refilled and tested daily. If a sealed graviety fed <br /> unit is used, it shall be flushed, rinsed, refilled and sealed <br /> if used, or the seals are broken ) . <br /> - 20 lbo. , combination 8C or equivalent, portable fire <br /> extinguisher <br /> - First aid kit (physician approved ) <br /> - Air h&rn or other noise maker used to notify of emergency site <br /> evacuations . <br /> - Wind direction indicator (i. e. , wind scok, colored tape <br /> streamer, flag or similar devices. ) <br /> - Portable mobile telephone ( accessible by field personnel in the <br /> event of an emergency) . <br /> - Potaboe drinking water. <br /> - Chemical absorbent socks ( or equivalent ) <br /> All stand-by equipment shall be stagged in visable, easily Accessible <br /> locations wi;;hin the support zone at each work location. The SHO <br /> shall be res»onsible for staggin¢ this equipment and reviewing its <br /> location and use with field personnel during daily Tailgate Safety <br /> Meeting_. <br /> 13. 3 EVACUATIONS <br /> At each work location , a primary and secondary evacuation route and <br /> regroup area shall be established and marked. The evacuation route <br /> shall be documented on the Tailgate Safety Meeting form. The SHO <br /> shall be responsible for identifying these routes prior to the <br /> beginning of each day' s operations , and communicating this information <br /> to the field personnel during the Tailgate Safety Meetings. <br /> Evacuation r9utes and regroup areas shall be upwind and upgiadient for <br /> the work location. Because work operations are being performed <br /> Outdoors , evacuation routes and procedures are not expected to present <br />
