Heat Stress <br />Because heat related disorders can occur even when outside temperatures are moderate the <br />following heat stress conditions and First Aid Procedures are mentioned. <br />Condition Symptoms First Aid <br />Heat Rash <br />Chaffed skin caused by <br />Discontinue work <br />the rubbing of warm, <br />Apply topical First <br />damp clothing. <br />Aid ointment; change <br />clothes if possible <br />before resuming work. <br />Heat Cramps <br />Spasms and pain in <br />Discontinue work. <br />the extremities and <br />Massage the affected <br />abdomen. <br />muscle. Give half <br />glass of water every <br />15 minutes.
