Box 2009 Stockton, CA 95201 SUBJECT: LEAH DETECTION TEST Dear Sir/Madam: Attached are the tank integrity tests performed on 10 May 1988 for the two 10,000 gallon underground fuel storage tanks located at the J. R. Simplot Company facility, 16777 Howland Road, Lathrop, California. Section 2643(e) of Title 23 requires that "within 30 days of completion of either of the leak detection test described in subsection (b) or ( c ) of this section, the underground storage tank owner shall provide the local agency with a report which includes the following information, if applicable: " Section 2643 (e) ( 1) : "The procedures used ( including any deviations from those recommended by the developer of the underground storage tank test procedure) for the leak detection method; " The test procedure used is included in the attached test reports. Section 2643 (e) ( 2) : "The test results used in determining the volumetric rate of product loss. " The test results are included in the attached test reports. Section 2643 (e) (3) : "The volumetric rate of product loss. " The rate of product loss is included in the attached test reports. The gasoline storage tank tested tight according to NFPA standards. The diesel storage tank did not meet NFPA standards. Section 2643 (e) (4) : "The information shall be presented in written and/or tabular format as appropriate and shall be at a level of detail appropriate for the test procedure used. " Please refer to the attached test results.
