Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Attention: Environmental Health <br /> Dear Sir/Madam: <br /> Enclosed please find the results from inventory reconciliation monitoring of two <br /> 10,000 gallon underground tanks located at the J. R. Simplot Company fertilizer <br /> and agricultural chemicals manufacturing plant in Lathrop, California. The tanks <br /> contain regular leaded gasoline and diesel . <br /> Inventory reconciliation for the gasoline tank indicated four dates which the <br /> variation exceeded the allowable variation. Inventory reconciliation for the <br /> diesel tank indicated nine dates which the variation exceeded the allowable <br /> variation. The dates and variations are listed on the attached report. The <br /> average daily variation of the gasoline tank was -2.8 gallons, or 3.7% of the <br /> allowable variation. The average daily variation of the diesel tank was +1.9 <br /> gallons, or 2.5% of the allowable variation.
