Cotulla:
Enclosed are laboratory analytical reports for soil samples
collected by Groundwater Technology, Inc . (GTI) from the property
of Mr. Ray Farmer at the above referenced location.
On November 11 , 1987 , GTI obtained soil samples from an excavated
tank pit at the site. The results of laboratory analyses
performed on the soil samples were outlined in a letter to your
office dated December 16, 1987 .
Upon review of analytical results of the initial samples taken
from the bottom of the tank pit , it was determined that
contaminated soil was still present . The pit was subsequently
re-excavated to a depth of approximately 25 feet . On January 21 ,
1987 , GTI returned to the site and obtained soil samples from the
bottom of the excavated tank pit . Enclosed are the laboratory
analytical results for the second round of sampling. The samples
were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline;
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) ; ethylene
dibromide (EDB) ; and organic lead.
