(AGE)has prepared this report documenting soil <br /> sampling at the referenced address. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. <br /> r <br /> UST REMOVAL <br /> On 12 April 2001,two 500-gallon fuel USTs and one 500-gallon waste oil UST were removed from <br /> beneath the sidewalk adjacent to 715 North Hunter Street, Stockton, California. The USTs were <br /> r removed under San Joaquin County Public Health Services- Environmental Health Division(PHS- <br /> EHD)permit by Stockton Service Station Equipment Company, Inc. <br /> SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Following removal of the tanks, a backhoe was used to collect soil samples from the floor of the <br /> excavation.One sample was collected beneath each former UST location at a depth of approximately <br /> 10 feet below surface grade (bsg). Soil samples collected from the floor of the excavation were <br /> identified as samples Tl-W, T2-E and T3-E. <br /> Three soil samples were collected beneath the two former fuel dispensers and waste oil fill location <br /> ` (D1-2.5',D2-2.5'and W01). Dispenser samples were collected at a depth of approximately 2.5 feet <br /> bsg.Two samples were also collected from soil removed from the excavation (SP 1-W and SP1-E). <br /> Soil samples were collected using a metric soil sampling hammer, loaded with a pre-cleaned brass <br /> sleeve.The ends of the brass sleeves were sealed with Teflon plastic sheets and end caps were tapped <br /> ion <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118_ <br /> r <br />
