UST owners <br /> are included in this new requirement. A copy of the 8VVRBC flyer entitled ''ACT NOVV^, <br /> explaining the responsibilities ofUST owners and the deadlines by which you must comply, is <br /> enclosed with this letter. <br /> This second notification is being sent through certified mail so you understand the importance <br /> ofthe January 1. 2005. deadline to (described below) <br /> and storal�� <br /> ' tank facilities located within San Joaquin County. <br /> The owner's compliance statement mentioned above is required pursuant toCalifornia Code of <br /> ` <br /> Regulations, Title 23. section 2715 (a)which reads: <br /> By January 1, 2005' owners of underground storage tank systems shall <br /> submit a signed statement to the local agency indicating that the owner <br /> understands and ieincompliance with all applicable underground storage <br /> tank requirements, and identifying the designated LIST operator(e) for each <br /> facility owned. The owner shall inform the local agency of any change of <br /> designated LIST mperator(e) nolater than 30 days after the change' <br /> To help you comply with these requirements, the 38n Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHO) is enclosing a document entitled ''C)vvner Statements of Designated <br /> Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator and Understanding of and Compliance with LIST <br /> Requirements".
