OPW 61 JSK-4400-EVR
JACK SCREW Patent Pending
' 1 DK-2100-EVR
DRAIN VALVE
OPW 61 SO-40OC-EVR SERIES
OVERFILL PREVENTION VALVE
USA Patent No. 4,986,320;
5,564,464; 5,174,345;
5,472,012; 5,850,849
OPW 6111-1400
TANK BOTTOM PROTECTOR
WHAT DOES EVF EAN FOR GASOLINE
DISPENSING FACILITY OPERATORS?
Some jurisdictions are already adopting EVR.
Others are considering adopting EVR or certain
portions of the requirements. Still others are taking
a wait and see position as EVR progresses. One
thing is certain: virtually all jurisdictions will accept
new EVR equipment; some will not accept old
CARB-approved equipment.
SHOULD YOU CONSIDER UPGRADING TO
THE NEW EVR EQUIPMENT?
Some important facts to consider when developing
an equipment strategy in the face of the uncertain
regulatory environment:
1. Equipment certified under previous CARB
regulations is decertified as the new EVR
standards take effect. There is no mechanism
by which this equipment can become re -certified
to the old standards. Likewise, no new or
improved equipment can become certified to
the old CARB requirements (CARB will only
certify equipment to the new EVR requirements).
The old CARB regulations, and therefore
equipment approved under the previous
CARB requirements, will become obsolete.
2. It seems inevitable that EVR will become the
new standard in many jurisdictions. Now that EVR
equipment is available, jurisdictions that follow
CARB will be compelled to adopt the new, more
stringent EVR standards.
3. The performance of the new EVR equipment
is superior. The EVR requirements and testing
protocol force manufacturers to develop more
robust, ever tighter, and more reliable products.
4. Installing EVR certified equipment provides a
higher level of protection against fugitive emissions
and pressure decay test failures.
5. Installing EVR certified equipment provides a ient
safe fueling environment and enhances air quality.
WHY LOOK TO OPW FOR YOUR
VAPOR RECOVERY EQUIPMENT?
Significant engineering and financial resources
are required to meet the design and certification
challenges imposed on manufacturers by EVR. As
the industry leader in Vapor Recovery equipment,
OPW has the necessary resources and commitment
to continually meet these challenges. Unmatched
R&D, engineering, manufacturing, QC, and customer
service are inherent capabilities of OPW that continuc
to keep the company at the forefront of technology
enabling it to offer innovative products to keep pace
with the more stringent regulations. OPW is, indeed,
uniquely positioned as the supplier of choice for the
industry's EVR equipment needs.
nts
ins.
Cy
