North Cal Construction proposes to install one (1) groundwater
monitoring well to determine ground water hydrocarbon content.
Plat 2 shows the proposed boring location. We will:
*Drill one boring with a truck mounted 10 inch to a 12 inch
diameter hollow -stem auger.
*Extend the boring 10 feet into groundwater.
*Log the boring.
*Convert the boring to monitoring well with a four (4) inch
PVC casing which is screened from the bottom of the boring to
approximately five (5) feet above the groundwater level (Plate
3 shows completion detailed for a typical monitoring well
installation).
*Develop the wells (minimum of four well volumes of water) and
take groundwater samples with stainless steel bailer.
*Collect the samples in two (2) liter glass bottles with
— teflon lined caps.
7
