After installation of the containment vessel allow a minimum of two hours cure
time. (NOTE: Allow four hours if the temperature is below 500F.)
2. Only after the fiberglass has cured, fill the bottom 1/3 of the vessel with
water and inspect for leaks.
3. If there are no leaks remove the water and your installation is "fluid—tight"
and completed.
4. If there is a leak continue;
5. Mark any/all leaks with a MARKS—A—LOT type marking pen.
6. Remove ALL the water and thoroughly dry the area.
7. Sand area with 36 grit sandpaper. Remove dust and inspect area to be
fiberglassed. Insure this area is dry and free of dirt.
8. Mix resin and apply it to the area of the leak. Apply "mat" over the resin
and roll to saturate "mat" and to remove any air bubbles.
NOTE: Air bubbles are most likely the cause of your leak.
REMEMBER: When sanding, grinding, mixing or applying fiberglass materials
wear protective gear, SAFTY GLASSES, GLOVES and PARTICLE MASK.
9. Allow the "patch" to cure then refill the vessel with water and inspect for
leaks.
