Dispenser Containment Sumps Specifying Dispenser Sumps Dispenser Sumps are installed directly under a product dispenser, providing a means of secondary containment for the dispenser and associated plumbing. They also provide a means of surface access to the flexible piping connections. Two types of dispenser containment sumps are used with the GeoFlex Piping System. The first is the 'Shallow Dispenser Sump" which can be used with both suction and pressure piping systems providing the "Liquid Interstitial Monitoring System" is used In the pressure piping system. The second is the "Deep Dispenser Sump" used primarily for pressure piping systems which are run in series and do not use the "Liquid Interstitial Monitoring System'. Refer to the 'Dispenser Directory" within the Environ Products Price List to i^ select the appropriate Dispenser Sump model. Dispenser Sump Applications Dispenser Sumps used with Geoflex piping will involve two types of installation applications. The first is a "Junction Application" which occurs only in pressure piping systems routed "in-sedes" (from one dispenser to the next). This application uses the Tee Fitting to Interconnect one flexible pipe section to the next as well as branching off to the dispenser. Junction Applications Shallow Dispenser Sumps These lower profile dispenser sumps have a total height of 19 Inches, permitting the GeoFlex Pipe to exit out of the Dispenser Sump at a very high elevation which Is ideal for suction piping systems requiring slope back directly to the tank. They may also be used in pressure piping systems that are run In series and use the 'Liquid Level Monitoring System". There are two types of Shallow Dispenser Sumps available. The upper illustrations show the "stepped -out' version used mostly for conventional pressure type dispensing units. The lower illustrations show the 'non -stepped" Shallow Dispenser Sump which is used typically with suction type dispensing units. Available soon. The second application is called a "Terminating Application" which occurs under the dispenser located at the end of a pressure piping system routed "in -series" or under all dispensers for suction piping systems. This application uses the Elbow Fitting attached to a rigid riser pipe, or the Geof/ex Connector to interconnect the flexible pipe section to the dispenser. J n.. pl, ebo 1p. Deep Dispenser Sumps These higher profile dispenser sumps have total height of 30 Inches permitting the GeoFlex Pipe to exit out of the Dispenser Sump at a very low elevation which Is ideal for pressure piping systems requiring slope back indirectly to the lank. Also recommended for use with pressure piping systems run In series which do not use the 'Liquid Level Monitoring System".
