This training shall include, but not be limited to, the following; new <br /> employee training, annual training, periodic refresher courses, and familiarization with Emergency <br /> Plans and Procedures of this Business Plan/ Contingency Plan. <br /> 1. Summarize specific job descriptions for all positions that work with or come in contact with <br /> hazardous materials/hazardous waste and indicate how these specific positions will be trained for <br /> their job responsibilities or hazards of exposure(describe training program). Designate whether <br /> employee is working with hazardous material (HM), hazardous waste(HW), or both (B). <br /> All employees are trained in the following procedures: <br /> 11 Internal emergency shutdown procedure <br /> 2) External emergency response organization notifications <br /> 3)Location and content of emergency response plan <br /> 4) Evacuation <br /> 5)Locations and proper use of fire spill use control equipment <br /> All personnel receive emergency response training on their first day of hire Arefresher course in <br /> their training is mandatory once a Year. <br /> 2. Summarize training specific to emergency response personnel who will deal with either <br /> hazardous material or hazardous waste release of threatened release. <br /> Employees are instructed in the use of dry chemical fire extinguisher. How to direct the <br /> extinguisher to get the best results Employees have absorbent material in case of spills They are <br /> instructed to direct the spill as not to cause damage or injury to others They are supplied with <br /> information from material safety data sheet as to first aid They are supplied with proper phone <br /> numbers to call immediatOytheir emergency response team and 911 <br /> 3. Indicate frequency and duration of training for each type of employee noted above (a. Table may <br /> be used). <br /> One employee is on the premises during an 8 hour shiftHe or she is instructed with a course to <br /> read materials and procedures concerning hazardous materials then given a test This is done the <br /> first day of employment He or she is instructed in the procedures to take for fire spills and medical <br /> response. They are also told whom to call Their training is upgraded once a year or if new data <br /> comes in. 4.
