To qualify as a small business, as defined in AB <br /> 2955, the grant applicant is a business that employs fewer than 500 full-time and part- <br /> time employees, is independently owned and operated, and is not dominant in its field <br /> of operation. Grant funds available up to $30,000 per facility. <br /> Grant funds available for: <br /> • Costs associated with leak detection equipment used to.monitor the UST's <br /> interstitial space; the maximum payment for this equipment is $15,000. <br /> • Costs associated with Enhanced Leak Detection testing after installation to <br /> demonstrate that the UST is product tight; the maximum payment for these <br /> tests are $15,000. <br /> Grants may be issued before or after UST installation. Please note that grants must be <br /> issued no later than 12 months after the installed UST is placed into use.
