Hwy 99 East Frontage Rd. <br /> Stockton, CA 95215 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to cold start the monitoring panel and replace the 87 CPT controller <br /> on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. This work was <br /> completed on March 31, 2015. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following appointments (a 48- <br /> hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspections <br /> for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm <br /> history shall be printed prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system <br /> and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Overfill prevention verification: Verify that external audio and visual alarm activates <br /> when tank is 90% full. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the tanks or piping, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the affected portins once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
