MONITORING AND RESPONSE,PLAN - SC <br /> ARCQ_PRODUCTS COMPANY FACILITY WITH <br /> DISPENSER SPILL CONTAINMENT DEVICES <br /> ARCO Facility: '63 5 Address: �fg5 5 <br /> Tu C)L CA . <br /> This is a monitoring and response plan of action for facilities with spill <br /> containment devices installed beneath the dispensers. <br /> 1 . CONTAINMENT EQUIPMENT <br /> Dispenser spill containment devices [box{esl] are located beneath <br /> each dispenser to contain any leaks from components and fittings <br /> inside the dispenser cabinet. A mechanical sensor is located in the <br /> box. When the sensor detects the presence of a liquid, it will activate <br /> the impact valve and shut the dispenser down. <br /> 2. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE <br /> The containment devices will be inspected according to the <br /> manufacturer's instructions by an outside contractor once during each <br /> calendar year. <br /> 3. ROUTINE MONITORING PROCEDURE <br /> On a weekly basis the facility operator shall: <br /> A. Inspect each containment box for the presence of a liquid. <br /> S. Remove debris from the containment box. <br /> If any liquid is found, manually close the impact valve, place the <br /> dispenser "out of service", and call ARCO Maintenance immediately. <br /> 4.
