UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> I. WRITTEN MONITORING PROCEDURES <br /> 1. Site Name: 7-Eleven Facility#32190 <br /> 2. Site Address: SW Corner of Arch Road&Hwy 99 Frontage Road, Stockton, CA <br /> 3. Describe the frequency of performing the monitoring method. <br /> All Southland tanks,both single-wall and double-wall, are equipped with automatic tank gauges <br /> (ATGs). The ATGs monitor the system constantly and test the tanks monthly to obtain a valid <br /> monthly test(tank capacity between 50-90% full,4-hour wait time between deliveries and 6-hour <br /> test time). The piping systems(single-wall and double-wall)are monitored constantly by <br /> mechanical pressure gauges. Additionally,all Southland piping systems receive line tightness tests <br /> annually. <br /> 4. What method and equipment will be used for performing the monitoring? <br /> Quantitative monitoring will be used at all Southland sites. The ATGs test both types of tanks <br /> monthly. The ATG system used by the Southland Corporation is the TIDEL EMS. The piping <br /> systems are tested annually with line tightness tests and are constantly monitored with Red Jackets or <br /> Vaporless LD 2000 which will shut off the piping if the pressure drops too low. <br /> 5. Describe the location(s)where the monitoring will be performed. <br /> The Red Jackets or Vaporless LD 2000 are located in the turbin pit. The ATGs are located in the <br /> tanks. <br /> 6. List the name(s) of the person(s)responsible for performing the monitoring and/or maintaining the <br /> equipment. <br /> The individual(s)responsible for monitoring the equipment is/are the store operator(s). The store <br /> operator(s)for this store is unknown at this time. The Southland Corporation is responsible for <br /> maintaining the equipment. <br /> 7. Reporting format: The TIDEL EMS unit keeps the results of leak tests in memory for 12 months. <br /> This information can be printed by following the instructions on the unit. <br /> 8. State the preventive maintenance schedule for the monitoring equipment. Note: The maintenance <br /> schedule shall bg in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. <br /> Equipment repairs and replacement will be performed as needed. Additionally, in accordance with <br /> the manufacturer's instructions,the monitoring equipment will be tested annually to certify that it is <br /> functioning properly. <br /> 9. Describe the training needed for the operation of both the tank system and the monitoring equipment. <br /> Training is provided for new employees. Training refreshers are offered as needed. The operations <br /> manual for the equipment was provided to the store operator when the equipment was installed. <br /> Training also includes emergency procedures and spill clean-up. <br /> 1 <br />
