January 13, 1986 <br /> SAFEW11 <br /> SAFEWAY MEAT PROCESSING PLANT SAFEWAY MEAT PROCESSING PLANT <br /> <br /> STOCKTON, CA 95206 <br /> In late 1983, the Governor signed into law A82013 and 1362. These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials" The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County" State 10 provides ` <br /> \ <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br />| <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a Yearly basis. The facilities Permitto Operate <br /> will be issued for a five Year Period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include-a $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee Per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board~ ' <br /> ' <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986" Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1" Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3' 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3" Tuesday', Febhuary 11/ 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton, CA. Due to <br /> limited space, these workshops wil be limited to the first 200 persons Per <br /> meeting. <br />� <br />� <br />� If you have any 9uestions regarding this, Please contact C.
