Each employee shall take notice of the first aid procedures at the end of <br /> ' this manual . <br /> 13 SUMMARY <br /> ' It is the intent of this program to make all personnel aware of the many <br /> hazards which may be encountered and how to avoid them. On the job training is <br /> ' the most effective way to learn and apply safe work practices and accident <br /> prevention. It is not possible to teach you every aspect of safety on paper in <br /> this program, experience in the field will always be your best teacher. If you <br /> are in doubt as to the safest way to accomplish any task, always ask before you <br /> ' act. Safety is a part of everyone's job. <br /> 13. 1 CODE OF SAFE OPERATIONS <br /> 1 . This code of safe operations shall be read by all employees prior to <br /> employment by this company and adherence shall be a condition of <br /> employment. <br /> 2. Hard hats shall be worn when needed while on any construction <br /> ' project. <br /> 3. Proper foot wear shall be worn. Shoes with badly worn or torn soles <br /> shall not be worn. <br /> ' 4. Observe good housekeeping always. <br /> 5. If you are in doubt as to the safety or safest method of a condition <br /> or in completing a job, get proper instruction before you proceed. <br /> 6. Report all accidents, immediately. <br /> 7. Always use the safest method to complete a job. <br /> 8. Know the location of all first-aid, fire extinguisher and other <br /> emergency equipment and phone numbers of closest emergency services. <br /> 9.
