These Bills require <br /> the imventorY, inspection and permitting of all. underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcenxent agency for the <br /> citiem and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State Iaw 'brovides <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The faci.lities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> imspectional fee, this statement will aI50 inclpde a $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> ^ i� i renewed or amended All State surcharge <br /> whenever, the facilities perm s ren . <br /> ' fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water ' <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Opera-Leg con�plete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the apPropriate fees.
