CALIFORNIA CODES <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE <br /> SECTION 25280-25299.8 <br /> 25296.15. (a) No closure letter shall be issued pursuant to this <br /> chapter unless all of the following conditions are met: <br /> (1) The soil or groundwater, or both, where applicable, at the <br /> site have been tested for MTBE. <br /> (2) The results of that testing are known to the regional board. <br /> (3) The board, the regional board, or the local agency makes the <br /> finding specified in subdivision (g) of Section 25296.10. <br /> (b) Paragraphs (1) and (2) of subdivision (a) do not apply to a <br /> closure letter for a tank case for which the board, a regional board, <br /> or local agency determines that the tank has only contained diesel <br /> or jet fuel. <br />
